Boat Tryp Itinerary

Your own private yacht at sea!

DAY

01

Welcome to Croatia!

Your adventure starts in the historic city of Trogir, one of our favourite spots in Croatia - an elegant old town recognized by the UNESCO World Heritage Centre. It is full of intimate streets and good restaurants, a beautiful seaside promenade, and a pretty port along the Adriatic Coast. Upon arrival you’ll make your way to the marina where you’ll be greeted by your Skipper and Boat Tryp Crew. This first day will be dedicated to settling into your sailboat, gathering groceries with your crew, and preparing for your sailing adventure along the Dalmatian Coast.

DAY

02

Maslinica

After breakfast on the sailboat, you and your crew will undergo a brief orientation led by your Skipper. You’ll learn some basic sailing etiquette, lyngo, and skills. Sailing is a team effort and everyone in your crew will be given a role and responsibility throughout the adventure. All aboard! We set sail towards the gorgeous city of Maslinica - a small but very nice town situated on the island of Solta. Here you will find an intimate marina, several bars and shops, and a beach bar where you will enjoy evening drinks and a Sunset Party! The place is extremely atmospheric, surrounded by greenery and offering beautiful views of the sea.

DAY

03

Vis

Vis is the farthest inhabited island off the Croatian mainland. It’s a beautiful place for an evening walk and complete relaxation. Secret army tunnels carved into the island have become a major local and tourist attraction. With crystal-clear waters and winding roads, it is a perfect opportunity to rent scooters to explore the island and admire the stunning sea views.

DAY

04

Palmižana

A tropical island of trees, plants, and crystal clear sea water. The marina is quiet and picturesquely situated in a wooded cozy cove. Palmižana is also known for its fun pubs with a great view of the neighbouring Vinogradisce Bay.

DAY

05

Hvar

Welcome to Hvar, or Saint-Tropez of the Adriatic! This is the legendary party destination of Croatia, filled with epic bars and dance venues. You’ll be impressed by the dense Mediterranean nature, rich tradition and architecture, and famous nightlife. For those with extra energy, a hike to the Spaniola Fortress is a must, overseeing the historic town and surrounding islands.

DAY

06

Stari Grad

Stari Grad, literally translating to “Old Town”, is the first human settlement on the island of Hvar and one of the oldest cities in Europe. You’ll be enchanted by the courtyards, cafes, and the market square full of Croatian delicacies like lavender honey or rakija (local liquor). Come the evening, local pubs and wine bars await for a traditional night out with amazing scenery.

DAY

07

Necujam

En route back to the mainland, we’ll anchor our sailboat by the wild and tropical island bay of Necujam. Today’s dedicated to kicking our feet back, soaking up the sun, swimming in the turquoise sea surrounding us, and living the ultimate boat life.

DAY

08

Split

Today we dock the boat at port and pack our bags. We head back home with amazing memories and a new travel family. A sailor’s salute to the crew! For those with extra curiosity and time, we strongly recommend exploring the streets of Split, Croatia’s second largest city after the capital. With ruins dating back to the Roman Empire, a bustling waterfront, and fresh seafood served daily, it’s the perfect place for one final Croatian drink or meal. Where one journey ends, another Tryp begins.
