This experience is all about embracing the cold and realizing the strength of your mind and body!

Over the course of 3 days, you’ll be led by certified experts through a series of workshops centered around movement, breathwork, heat therapy and cold exposure. You’ll also have full access to a ton of amenities including a cosy 2-person chalet, hot tub, sauna, tea room, exercise room and more. We take care of all the nitty gritty details, so you can focus on disconnecting from the city and reconnecting with yourself and other adventurers.

What Is Cold Exposure?

Any form of short exposure to cold - could be a cold shower, a frozen lake plunge, or an ice bath.

How Long Should I Stay In The Water?

There is no minimum requirement. Listen to your body and do what’s right for you. We usually recommend between 90 and 120 seconds to reap the full benefits.

No. When done with support and the right preparation, cold exposure has a ton of benefits.

Itinerary

DAY

01

Welcome to Oak Lake!

Upon arriving at Oak Lake, you’ll get into your chalet. Your Tryp Leader will then run quick orientation on the resort and all amenities. Afterwards, you’ll have the opportunity to watch some of our Certified Guides take an ice plunge. We’ll then debrief with them on their experience, answer questions you may have and set our intentions for the weekend.

For dinner, we’ll enjoy a nice potluck meal to give a chance for everyone to meet and connect as the weekend unfolds. You’ll also have a chance to enjoy all the amenities throughout the weekend including a sauna, hot tub, yoga studio, fitness room, and firepits.

02

Sunrise Ice Plunge

We’ll rise right at the crack of down and meet in the tea room for fresh coffee. Our Certified Guide, Thomas, will lead a breathwork session to prepare for the sun rise ice plunge. He’ll then guide and support you through the entire process. You will be amazed at your strength and connection with your body upon exiting the water.

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll take a wooded walk with breathwork exercises, follow up with a partner-powered workout - we promise you this workout will be nothing like what you expect! We’ll get a chance to rest before meeting in the yoga studio for sunset yoga. And, after dinner we’ll enjoy a communal bonfire under the moonlight sky.

03

Relax & Rejuvenate

On our final day, we’ll experience the cold once again. Lisa, your certified guide, will lead you through the breathwork and take each of you on a solo ice plunge. This is a very unique and intimate experience we encourage everyone to try. 

Afterwards, there will be a morning yoga session. Then, we leave you free to enjoy the amenities - be it the hot tub, sauna, surrounding woods, or just a cozy board game in the tea room.

And after the much needed relaxation we’ll debrief on our experience, see what we learnt and say our goodbyes before heading back home.
