How Tryps Camps in the Backcountry!

This 3-day backcountry camping trip through Algonquin Park will allow you to live in the heart of Canadian wilderness. Guided by your trip leader and accompanied by your crew of adventurers, you will embark in canoes through 5 different lakes to reach your destination.

What is truly unique about this experience is two-fold: first, you will be portaging which refers to navigating through water and land in a canoe. Just like in the movies, there will be moments where you’ll carry your canoe above your head (it’s not as heavy as you imagine and you will learn the right technique!). Second, your destination and home for two nights will be so deep in the wild that it can only be accessed by water and foot.

You will be surrounded by tranquility we often forget still exists; fresh air, gorgeous sunsets, and a blanket of shining stars will be your environment. It's a rare opportunity to break away, connect with nature, and live the untamed beauty of the Canadian backcountry. All the equipment that you need is provided - you just  have to show up and be ready to adventure the great Canadian outdoors.
